If we build it, they will come — and play, laugh, and grow together. At Cedar Hill Sanctuary, our mission is to offer a safe, welcoming space where people and farm animals come together to experience growth, healing and connection. Now we are adding a new place for that growth to happen: a youth-sized baseball field, framed by a cornfield, right here on our 10 acres in Lydick. Why a Ball Field? Baseball teaches the same things our programs are built around — communication, teamwork, and self-confidence. The Field of Dreams will give the youth and adults we serve, including our neurodiverse participants, a safe and welcoming place to: play catch, take swings, and run the bases at their own pace. Build confidence through small wins, one at-bat at a time. Share family days, community events, and friendly games. Your gift helps us build and our family is donating all the labor — leveling, spreading dirt, seeding, turf installation. Every dollar you give goes directly to materials.
